Melody Tardiff

Founder & Owner

Melody Tardiff is the owner of Aethos Taekwondo Ste. Anne and a dedicated 3rd Dan black belt. Passionate about creating a family-oriented environment, she ensures that every student feels welcomed and valued at the club. Melody’s commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere extends to her roles on the Nominations and Memberships Committee and the Coaching Committee.

 

As a P2 referee with Taekwondo Manitoba, Melody plays an integral role in the broader taekwondo community. She is deeply invested in supporting each student's growth, both on and off the mat, and has been a guiding influence in the taekwondo journeys of both of her sons. Her dedication to the sport and her students is a cornerstone of Aethos Taekwondo.

Charlie Tardiff

Aethos Sparring Head Coach

With 15 years of taekwondo experience, Charlie Tardiff is a skilled instructor and dedicated practitioner. Holding a 4th Dan black belt, he brings both expertise and a passion for teaching to the mat. As a P2 referee with Taekwondo Manitoba, Charlie is also actively involved in the sport's development at all levels.

 

Charlie’s broad experience, both as a competitor and instructor, allows him to connect with students of all ages and skill levels. His focus is on helping each student reach their full potential, both in taekwondo and in life.

Carter Tardiff

Aethos Sparring Coach

With 16 years of experience in taekwondo, Carter Tardiff is a seasoned practitioner and instructor. As a 4th Dan black belt, he has proven his skill and dedication to the art, both as a competitor and coach. Carter's competitive achievements include being a former UTSS Super Series Cadet Champion (2018), and he is also a certified P1 referee with Taekwondo Manitoba.

 

Carter’s passion for taekwondo extends beyond competition; he is a dedicated instructor, committed to passing on his expertise and competitive spirit to his students. His approach to teaching emphasizes discipline, respect, and the pursuit of excellence.

David Lemoing

Instructor

2nd Dan Black Belt | P2 Sports Poomsae Referee | P2 Kyorugi Referee | Nomination & Memberships Committee Member

David Lemoing is an active member of the taekwondo community for more than a decade, earning his 2nd Dan Black Belt and developing a reputation as a skilled competitor, referee, and coach. He currently holds P2 Sports Poomsae Referee and P2 Kyorugi Referee certifications and contributes to the sport’s growth and integrity through his role on the Nomination & Memberships Committee.

 

Blending tradition with innovation, David also holds certifications in AI and coaching, which he uses to bring fresh, modern approaches to training and athlete development. His depth of experience and passion for teaching make him a respected instructor dedicated to guiding the next generation of taekwondo practitioners.

Nicki Woodhall

Fundraising & Social Media Coordinator

Nicki is the Fundraising Coordinator for Aethos, dedicated to discovering new fundraising opportunities and driving the success of key initiatives. She plays a pivotal role in organizing the highly successful 50/50 raffles, helping to raise essential funds for the organization. With her strategic approach and passion for community engagement, Nicki continues to make a significant impact in supporting Aethos' growth and mission.
